A World of Possibilities
Anna is five, and everyone wants to know what she will be when she grows up. She does not know. There are too many things she would LOVE.
Her grandfather walks her through town to ask bakers, shopkeepers, cooks, and storytellers why they do what they do. Their answers are not job titles. They are lessons in curiosity, wonder, and appreciation.
By sunset Anna learns she does not have to choose just one path. She gets to grow into a whole world of possibilities.

Understanding that our lives are rooted in relationship changes everything. It changes the question from what can I get to how can I serve.
At sixteen I learned I could not see the letters on a driver's test. Keratoconus took ordinary vision and, in its place, gave me another kind. I started walking. Miles a day in Olympia. Then months along the West Coast. The Oregon coast became the best summer home I have ever had.
What made those journeys possible was never money. It was friendship. That is still the work.
